Getting Traffic for your website,
1. Social Networking
Simple! There are popular sites like Twitter, Facebook, etc., so what you basically have to do is to create a profile & post your site links as updates. Make sure all the profiles in these sites are set to Public not Private. Twitter is a must, as you can use some hash tags related to the link that you post. Example, I have a status about Boosting Alexa Rank, Oh! by the way, those tips mentioned in that post does help too! 😉

As you can see in this post, I have included the title of the article that I’ve written, short link to the post and there comes the hash tags I used are #Tutorials #Alexa because the article is already related to Alexa & belonging to the category Tutorials. So why had I included this is that mostly people in twitter search on a particular word right? so if you include hash tags, then your post is more visible!
Got it? Great, So my suggestion is that, if its a blog that you host then I would recommend you to update your Twitter, Facebook accounts with statuses mentioning the article’s title, link & hash tag!
2. Unique content
The title itself says it all. Yes, what you write about what you know should be unique than the others. Write about the latest trends happening around the world or write the latest stories that you can write about, which you actually know! There are a few ways to get to know what’s the latest trends on the internet. Starters, you can visit Google Trends and see what’s going on now!
There are a few tips in writing an article which makes the readers happy.
- Always Be Clear : What you write about, whatever the topic is, make sure its easy enough to understand the visitor. Don’t make it complicated. Just focus on the important points & wallah, whoever reading it will be happy to understand and share your content with others. It should cover all the matter as short as possible.
- Be friendly : Yes, writing a content with no emoticons or nothing is just boring! If visitors doesn’t feel the content enthusiastic then there is no way that he/she would stay and read the rest of your content at that time. Write the content that you want in such a way that your communicating with the user in real-time.
- Give your own feedback : Just by explaining/reviewing about anything isn’t enough, you must share how you feel about it or how it helps everyone and all.
- Connect content : If some part of the post is having content similarly to another post of yours then link to it! Don’t waste your time repeating it. Internal linking, its what is called! If you do that, your Page Rank will increase too!
3. Advertise your site (Paid)
Submitting your site to various ad networks is a good idea to get quality traffic. By paying on ad networks like Google Adsense or Facebook Ads, They are the best way to get natural visitors rather than junk traffic. Please do not try to buy Bulk Traffic solutions which are all coming by other methods because it sometimes affects your blog’s earnings like Google Adsense getting disabled. If your having a business website then I’d recommend you to join Google Adwords and of course, join when you get their free coupon codes. You may also ask your account manager to help you setup the ads.
